Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website plants4garden.co.uk (“Website”) and your purchase of any products or services offered by Plants4Garden (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Website.

 

1. Products and Services We sell live plants and garden-related products online, and we also provide garden maintenance and related services. All products and services are subject to availability.

 

2. Delivery We currently deliver to addresses within Dorset and Hampshire only. Standard delivery takes approximately 3–5 working days from the time your order and payment are confirmed. For larger or custom orders, delivery times will be confirmed directly with you via email. Deliveries are made using our own transport, or occasionally by another reputable courier company if required. You must inspect and unpack your plants immediately upon delivery and water them as required. Any damage during transit must be reported to plants4garden@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving your order, with clear photos of the issue. Returns are accepted only for damaged plants in transit or when otherwise agreed in writing by us. Ownership of goods transfers to you only once full payment is received.

 

3. Returns and Refunds (Online Plant Orders)Because plants are perishable, we cannot accept returns for healthy plants once delivered. Refunds or replacements will only be offered if: The plants arrive damaged or dead, and you notify us within 24 hours of delivery. The wrong items were sent. We do not cover damage caused by neglect, improper care, or delays in unpacking. Care instructions provided must be followed to maintain plant health.

 

4. Garden Maintenance Services Our garden maintenance services are charged per visit, based on the scope of work agreed in advance. We will provide an approximate duration for each visit, but actual time may vary throughout the year depending on plant growth, seasonal conditions, and other environmental factors. A deposit may be required to confirm bookings. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service may be charged at 50% of the quoted price to cover costs. We will take all reasonable care when working on your property but cannot be held liable for pre-existing issues, damage caused by weather, pests, or conditions beyond our control. Customers are responsible for ensuring clear access to the site and providing water or electricity if required for our equipment.

 

5. Health and Safety We take all reasonable precautions to ensure safe working practices while carrying out garden maintenance. However, we cannot accept liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from hazards present on site, including uneven ground, hidden objects, or adverse weather. Customers must inform us of any known risks (such as underground cables, pipes, ponds, or pets) before work begins.

 

6. Weather and Scheduling All outdoor maintenance visits are subject to weather conditions. If severe weather prevents us from working safely or effectively, we will reschedule the visit at no additional cost. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as storms, flooding, or transport disruption.

 

7. Accounts If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must be 18 years or older to register or make a purchase. We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or delete your account if any misuse, false information, or breach of these Terms occurs.

 

8. Payments Payments must be made in full before goods or services are provided, unless otherwise agreed. We accept secure online payments via SSL-encrypted systems. Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (with a full refund if applicable).

 

9. Accuracy of Information We aim to ensure all details on our Website are accurate, but errors or omissions may occur. We may correct or update information at any time without notice.

 

10. Privacy and Data Protection We collect and process personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).Your information is used solely for processing orders, arranging deliveries, and providing our services. 11. Liability Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the goods or services in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Care instructions are provided to help you maintain your plants; failure to follow them may void any claim. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

 

12. Force Majeure We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, strikes, pandemics, or transport and supply chain disruptions.

 

13. Image Use and Marketing We may request permission to take photographs of completed work for use on our website or social media channels. We will never publish any images of your property without your prior consent.

 

14. Complaints Handling We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly. If you have a concern, please contact us at plants4garden@gmail.com, and we will respond within 5 working days.

 

15. Cancellations by You If you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us immediately. If your order has already been shipped, we cannot cancel it. Garden maintenance bookings can be cancelled as per Section 4 above.

 

16. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on our Website. Continued use of our Website after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.

 

17. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
